Examination

  1. Pre-Primary Section (Nursery): Only annual evaluation at the end of each academic year in the month of April.
  2. Pre-Primary Section (Lower K.G. & Upper K.G.): Two assessments are conducted, Half yearly assessment before the end of first term i.e. in October and annual assessment before the end of the academic year i.e. in April. Students’ performance in each subject is also judged by monthly tests held in the last week of the month. Only grades are given in assessments.
  3. Primary Section (Class 1 to 8): For class1 to 8, the academic session is divided into two semesters. Each semester comprises of two Formative Assessment (FA) followed by one Summative Assessment (SA). For the main subjects, English, Grammar, Maths, Science, Gujarati, Hindi; (S.S, from Class 6 onwards), (Sanskrit from class 6 onwards )
    • Each FA is of 40 Marks = 30 Marks Written Exam (only objective type questions) + 10 Marks Assessment by Oral or Educational Activity for FA1 & FA3 / Project for FA2
    • Each SA is of 60 Marks = 60 marks Written Exam only. (Objective and subjective type questions)
    • SA Result comprises of 10 marks of FA1 + 10 marks from FA2 + 30 from SA1 = 50 for Sem1 and same way 50 from Sem2.
    • Annual Result comprises of: Total: Sem.1 (50 marks) + Sem. 2 (50 marks) = 100 marks.
    • Marking system for other subjects like Computer, G.K & Moral Science: No FA’s for these subjects. Written exam of 50 marks each for G.K. & M.Sc. in each SA. For Computer 30 marks Theory  + 20 marks Practical in each SA for Class 4 to 8.
    • There is no Moral Science subject for Class 1 to 3.
  4. Secondary Section(Class 9 and 10): Examinations will be conducted as per the guidelines of Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.
