Bachpan Foundation, an educational trust, started its Bachpan Pre-Primary School in the year 1999. The curriculum for this section was designed and formulated under the guidelines of the Montessori Method — The play way method, with utmost care, interest and review.

The curriculum designed is rooted in activities that develop essential skills while fostering confidence and creativity. Focus is on learning in a positive, fun, play-filled environment which would help to build social-emotional skills, motor skills, and intellectual skills. It encourages children to ask questions and be curious about the world, tries to work around children’s individual characteristics and needs. It puts emphasis on the thought that firstly, children learn best when they are developmentally ready, which is NOT necessarily predicted by a child’s chronological age, and secondly they learn best in enjoyable environments that provide positive feedback. So, here in two years of Lower and Upper K.G., we provide an environment that follows your child’s lead in terms of when they are ready to learn and prepare them well in all fields which are required for primary education at the next step.
